I see all the Ballard enthusiasts as a global (gated?) community in one of his novels, endlessly trying to make sense of the chaos around us using the tools he provided.Perhaps we are all perched on imaginary rooftops waiting for The Man to appear and lead us all on our journey towards the sun.
