I guess the abundance of startling visual imagery dominates my reader's awareness. This article will take me back to the short fiction. It's inspiring to think that JGB's vision of the city is influencing some architects to re-imagine how we approach urbanism and the place of the subject within the cityscape. I hadn’t given much consideration to the importance of sound in Ballard’s work before. I guess the abundance of startling visual imagery dominates my reader’s awareness. This article will take me back to the short fiction.
